Real Madrid have verbally agreed a €100million deal with French club Monaco for the transfer of midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni, according to The Athletic.
The report adds that both clubs are now in the process of finalising the paperwork and regulatory procedures in order for the 22-year-old’s transfer to be signed and officially announced.
Real Madrid beat off competition from Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool and Manchester United for the France international.
Tchouameni made 35 league appearances for Monaco in the just concluded season, helping the French side finish third in the league. He contributed three goals and two assists, and made a further 11 appearances in European competitions.
Tchouameni has made 95 appearances for Monaco in his two and a half seasons in the principality.
