La Liga side Espanyol have approached Real Madrid about signing Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin, according to Defensa Central via The Hard Tackle.

Premier League side West Ham are also interested in signing the 23 year old Ukraine star.

Andriy Lunin is keen on leaving Real Madrid this summer after making just four appearances in all competitions for the club last season.

Real Madrid reportedly happy to let him leave on loan this summer so that he can get regular game-time and continue his development.

Lunin has had three spells away on loan, having spent time at Leganes, Real Valladolid and Real Oviedo but has stayed put at the Bernabeu for the last two years.

Espanyol have shown interest in signing Lunin on loan as replacement for Diego Lopez.

Lunin is also courting interest from Elche, although Real Madrid would prefer the 23 year old goalkeeper joins Espanyol.

Lunin’s Real Madrid contract expires in 2024 and Real Madrid will look to extend his contract before sending him out on loan.

Lunin signed for Real Madrid from Zorya Luhansk in the summer of 2018.
