Real Madrid captain Marcelo is set to leave Real Madrid when his contract expires at the end of June.

Marcelo has been a Real Madrid player since joining from Brazilian club Fluminense in 2007 for $8million.

In Madrid, he went on to be a mainstay and has won five UEFA Champions League titles and six La Liga titles, among other honours.

In 2021, Marcelo became the captain of Real Madrid from the start of the 2021–22 season, making him the first foreign captain since 1904.

According to Marca via Football Espana, the legendary Brazilian left-back has been offered proposals from the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Turkey.

The Brazilian leaves Real Madrid after winning the Champions League and Spanish League, making a total of 545 appearances for Madrid.

Meanwhile, Luka Modric has extended his Real Madrid contract after winning his fifth Champions League with the club.
