Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has identified the perfect backup player to Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema for next season.
Benzema is the best striker in the world at the moment but Real Madrid have struggled in recent years to find a suitable backup for the France international.
The expensive signings of Luka Jovic and Mariano have not worked out, following several seasons marked by injury and inconsistency.
Both players are now expected to leave the club this summer after failing to have an impact since joining Real Madrid.
According to Football Espana, Carlo Ancelotti believes 21 year old Real Madrid Castilla striker Juan Miguel Latasa will be the ideal backup for Benzema next season.

The 21-year-old scored 13 goals last season in Raul Gonzalez’s Castilla side and has impressed enough to earn a shot in the first team.
Latasa is a tall striker with good feet and a talent for bringing others into the game around him, which gives him something of a similarity with first-choice Benzema.
The report adds that Latasa was told on Thursday that he would stay at the club and be a member of the Real Madrid first-team next season.
Latasa made his official debut for Real Madrid last season in the clash against Cádiz at the Nuevo Mirandilla, on matchday 37 of LaLiga.
Latasa, who joined the Real Madrid academy in 2016, came on in the 82nd minute to replace Mariano.
Speaking after his Real Madrid debut, Latasa said: “I’m really happy, I’ve been dreaming about this day for a long time, since I joined the under-16s. It’s been a very hard and long road.
“I would like to thank my parents who have been with me at a lot of training sessions and spent a lot of hours at Valdebebas.
“I’m pleased that I’m gradually growing into this team and that I’ve made my debut.
“Ancelotti told me to keep calm, to help as much as I could and just play the way I know how.
“You move up to train with your heroes, it’s a like dream, and when you get the chance, you just try to do as well as you can.
“I’m proud and really happy. I’m going to get my shirt signed and I’ll hang it up at home”.
