Real Madrid have identified Tottenham Hotspur star Heung-min Son as a transfer target for the club this summer, according to transfer expert Rudy Galetti.

Son, 29, had an impressive season for Tottenham Hotspur, scoring 23 goals on his way to the golden boot, which was shared with Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah.

Both Gareth Bale and Isco will leave Real Madrid at the end of June when their contracts expire and Marco Asensio is also reportedly keen on leaving the club.

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti reportedly wants attacking reinforcements this summer following the expected exits of Bale, Asensio and Isco.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez believes Tottenham Hotspur attacker Son will be an ideal signing for Real Madrid.

Having failed to sign Kylian Mbappe this summer, Real Madrid president Perez believes Son will be an ideal alternative to the France international.

Son’s 23 Premier League goals for Tottenham Hotspur last season helped Antonio Conte’s side finish fourth in the Premier League ahead of Arsenal.

It will be difficult to convince Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy to sell Son this summer but every player has a price.

Son’s Tottenham Hotspur contract expires in the summer of 2025 which means only a huge offer from Real Madrid will convince Tottenham Hotspur to sell the South Korean international.

“It’s like home, especially with the fans, the players, the staff,” Son said upon signing the deal last summer.

“There was no decision. It was easy. I’m so happy to be here and will be so glad to see the fans again soon.”

Son has transformed into a world-class forward since joining Tottenham Hotspur from Bayer Leverkusen in August 2015.

Tottenham boss Conte said after Son claimed a shared Golden Boot with Mohamed Salah: “I’m very happy for Sonny and I told him this because he is such a very nice person.

“Honestly this guy is a very special guy. For sure, one of the best I have worked with but it also means that we did things right and made sure he was given a chance to go and do well.

“I’m so happy for him because what he has done is not easy in the Premier League and I’m so happy for the team.”
