Real Madrid star Toni Kroos is ready to leave the club this summer amid interest from Premier League champions Manchester City.

According to El Nacional, Kroos wants assurances he will play regularly next season if he is to continue at Real Madrid.

Real Madrid spent €100million on France international midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni and it is believed the famous midfield trio of Kroos, Casemiro and Luka Modric won’t be seen regularly next season.

Following the arrival of Tchouameni, Kroos is worried his game time at Real Madrid might reduce and is now reportedly considering his future at the club.

El Nacional also added that Kroos could be sold in the summer if he wants to leave.

Los Blancos will not ask for more than €35 million for the midfielder, as he has just a season left in his current contract.

The 32-year-old was a vital part of the Real Madrid team that won the Champions League and La Liga last season.

However, he fears getting relegated to the bench next season as the manager plans a transition to the next set of midfield trio.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola coached Kroos at Bayern Munich and he is reportedly interested in signing the 32 year old German midfielder if he becomes available.

During his time at Real Madrid, Kroos has won the Champions League four times and the La Liga three times.

Since joining Real Madrid in 2014, Kroos has never dropped below 92% passing accuracy in the Champions League.

Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar is reportedly available for sale this summer, according to reports.

French champions Paris Saint-Germain are open to selling Neymar this summer if an acceptable bid is lodged, according to Goal.

Neymar joined Paris Saint-Germain from Barcelona in the summer of 2017 for €222million, which remains the world transfer record.

Real Madrid have been previously linked with a move for Neymar in the past but the club is no longer interested in signing the Brazilian forward.
