Newly-promoted La Liga club Real Valladolid are reportedly plotting a move for Real Madrid attacker Takefusa Kubo.

According to media outlet Diario de Valladolid, Real Valladolid are hoping to sign the 21 year old winger on a season-long deal.

Real Valladolid are hoping to be third time lucky after failing twice to sign the winger in the past.

Kubo spent the 2021/22 season on loan at RCD Mallorca but was not as impressive as his first spell with Los Piratas.

The 21-year-old is now back at Real Madrid but does not have a future at the club, at least for the 2022/23 season, with all three non-EU spots at the Bernabeu occupied.

Real Valladolid aren’t the only club interested in signing the Japanese winger this summer.

La Liga side Real Sociedad are reportedly in advanced talks with Real Madrid to sign Takefusa Kubo. Osasuna are also interested in signing the winger.

Meanwhile, 20 year old Real Madrid forward Reinier has told the club he wants to join Portuguese club Benfica.

The Brazilian playmaker has spent the last two seasons in Germany with Borussia Dortmund, but managed just one goal through 39 appearances there and is now looking for a new challenge.

Real Madrid already have several offers on the table for Reinier but the 20 year old Brazilian only wants to join Benfica.
