Real Madrid and Italian club Fiorentina have reached an agreement for the transfer of Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic, according to transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio.

Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic joins Fiorentina on a permanent deal on a two year contract with an option of another two years.

Real Madrid and Fiorentina were in talks over a loan deal for Jovic before both clubs reached an agreement for a permanent deal.

Real Madrid will receive no fee from Fiorentina for the transfer of Jovic but will have a 50 per cent sell-on. This means Real Madrid will get 50 per cent of the transfer fee should Fiorentina sell Jovic in future.

Jovic will reportedly earn around €2.5million yearly for the next two years which doubles to €5million yearly should he extend his stay for another two years.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric has revealed he misses former Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos.

After 16 years at Real Madrid, Ramos left the club last summer following the expiration of his contract for French club Paris Saint-Germain.

He made 469 La Liga appearances for Real Madrid, scoring 72 goals in the La Liga.

Luka Modric admits he became great friends with Sergio Ramos after he joined Real Madrid from Tottenham.

Luka Modric said: “It’s difficult for me to come to training knowing Sergio Ramos is not there anymore.

“From the first day he was close to me, helped me to adapt, cheered me and believed in my potential. We became great friends.”

He added: “Sergio Ramos and I still call each other every day. I miss hanging out with him, but that’s how it is in football.”
