21 year old Real Madrid Castilla striker Juan Miguel Latasa will be Karim Benzema’s back-up next season, according to Marca.
Juan Miguel Latasa will take Luka Jovic’s position in the Real Madrid squad with Jovic set to join Italian side Fiorentina.
Latasa scored 13 goals last season in Raul Gonzalez’s Castilla side and has impressed enough to earn a shot in the first team.
Latasa is a tall striker with good feet and a talent for bringing others into the game around him, which gives him something of a similarity with first-choice Benzema.
Latasa made his official debut for Real Madrid last season in the clash against Cádiz at the Nuevo Mirandilla, on matchday 37 of LaLiga.
Latasa, who joined the Real Madrid academy in 2016, came on in the 82nd minute to replace Mariano Diaz.
Mariano Diaz is also expected to leave Real Madrid this summer.
