After winning the La Liga and Champions League last season, Carlo Ancelotti is aiming to do what Real Madrid haven’t done in over 14 years.
Ancelotti wants to win the La Liga with Real Madrid next season after guiding the club to the title last season. The last time Real Madrid won the La Liga title two times in a row was 14 years ago.
Real Madrid won the La Liga in the 2006/07 season with Capello and won it again the following season with Schuster.
It’s a big challenge for Ancelotti to win the title back-to-back but it’s a challenge he’s more than happy to take on.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has no plans for Real Madrid forward Mariano Diaz next season.
Mariano Diaz has struggled to make an impact since returning to Real Madrid from Lyon in 2018.
Despite Luka Jovic leaving to join Italian side Fiorentina, Ancelotti has no plans for Mariano and reportedly prefers Borja Mayoral, who spent the second-half of last season on loan at Getafe, where he he scored 6 goals in 18 appearances.
Real Madrid Castilla striker Latasa is another player being considered as back-up to Karim Benzema for next season.
Latasa scored 13 goals last season in Raul Gonzalez’s Castilla side and has impressed enough to earn a shot in the first team.
He made his Real Madrid first-team debut last season against Cádiz at the Nuevo Mirandilla, on matchday 37 of LaLiga.
That will be great
