Real Madrid are set to receive a fresh bid from La Liga side Real Sociedad for 21 year old winger Takefusa Kubo, according to Defensa Central via The Hard Tackle.

Real Sociedad are keen on signing the winger permanently while Real Madrid only want to loan him out to the Basque club.

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti is an admirer of the 21 year old Japanese winger but with Eder Militao, Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo occupying the three non-EU spots, Kubo cannot play for Real Madrid.

Kubo joined Real Madrid from Japanese club FC Tokyo in 2019 but has spent the last three years on four loan spells to Mallorca, Villarreal, Getafe and Mallorca again.

Real Sociedad are keen on signing Kubo on a permanent deal this summer which has forced negotiations between the two clubs to drag on further.

The impasse between Real Madrid and Real Sociedad might soon end, with Real Sociedad readying a fresh bid for the 21-year-old.

Real Sociedad are ready to submit a bid for the Japanese winger with a buyback clause in the deal. It is believed Real will be open to letting Kubo leave permanently if a buyback clause is included.

Real Sociedad are desperate to sign Kubo this summer with Mikel Oyarzabal recovering from a long-term injury and Adnan Januzaj departing as a free agent.
