Real Madrid won’t offer new contracts to Marco Asensio and Dani Ceballos

Despite having just one year left on their contracts, Real Madrid won’t offer new contracts to Marco Asensio and Dani Ceballos.

According to Marca, despite the contract situation of Marco Asensio and Dani Ceballos, Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti will count on both players for next season if they don’t find new clubs this summer.

Both players have reported for pre-season training with Real Madrid and unlike our rivals Barcelona who are pushing Frenkie de Jong to join Manchester United, Asensio and Ceballos will join the plane for the tour of the United States.

Real Madrid reportedly value the talents of Asensio and Ceballos but believe there are better options for the future, hence the club’s refusal to extend their contracts.

The decision not to extend the contracts of Ceballos and Asensio is purely sporting and nothing more.
