La Liga rivals Barcelona completed the signing of Robert Lewandowski from German side Bayern Munich last week in a deal worth €50 million, including add-ons.

The Poland captain also penned a four-year contract with wages around €9 million per year. 

According to Gerard Romero, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez reached out to Barcelona to congratulate them on the signing of Lewandowski from Bayern Munich.

La Liga fans will definitely be treated to a rivalry of Karim Benzema and Lewandowski this season. We all know Real Madrid have the best striker in Benzema.
