It seems Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti is already preparing a long-term replacement for Casemiro in the Real Madrid team.
According to Mario Cortegana of Marca, new Real Madrid signing Aurelien Tchouameni played in Casemiro’s role during training on Thursday with Toni Kroos and Luka Modric in midfield.
Casemiro is still widely regarded as one of the best defensive midfielders in the world despite being 30 but he definitely won’t play every game for Real Madrid this season.
It’s good to know we can now rest Casemiro and still an equally brilliant midfielder in Tchouameni.
Casemiro or Tchouameni, who should start in holding midfield against Barcelona on Sunday?
