Spanish and European champions Real Madrid have reportedly asked Real Sociedad to keep the club informed about the situation of Alexander Isak this summer.
According to media outlet Deportivo Mundo via Hard Tackle, Real Madrid have asked Real Sociedad to keep the club in the loop if a suitor approaches the Basque club for the striker.
The 22 year old Swedish striker has been compared to Zlatan Ibrahimovic and reportedly has a release clause of about €90million in his Real Sociedad contract.
He scored 43 goals in 128 appearances for Real Sociedad since joining the La Liga side from German club Borussia Dortmund.
Real Madrid are reluctant to spend big on a striker this summer with Karim Benzema still influential in the squad but the club do not want to lose potential long-term replacements for Benzema, who is already in his 30s.
Real Madrid would prefer Isak continues his development at Real Sociedad but might have to launch an offensive to sign the Swede striker should a club submit a bid for the 22 year old.
