Antonio Rudiger is all set to make his very first appearance for Real Madrid on Sunday in the El Clasico against Barcelona in the USA.
It will be the first of three pre-season games for Real Madrid, with the other two against Club America and Juventus.
While Rudiger is expected to make an appearance against Barcelona, Real Madrid attacker Eden Hazard is now a doubt.
The Belgian forward – who has been plagued with injuries since joining Real Madrid in 2019 – was on the receiving end of a painful tackle from Rudiger during training.
Rudiger made clear contact with Hazard’s right ankle and the forward looked in some discomfort as he hit the deck.
According to Marca, Hazard is now a doubt for the game against Barcelona on Sunday. Hazard was reportedly not able to complete training following the tackle from Rudiger.
