Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has revealed why Real Madrid lost 1-0 to Barcelona in our first pre-season game of the summer in Las Vegas.

According to Ancelotti, Real Madrid missed the best player in the world, Karim Benzema.

Ancelotti said: “Benzema is the best player in the world and when he’s not playing, we obviously miss him.”

He added: “We were better on the ball in the second half. In the first half, we defended well and set up with a low block, but we lacked that little bit of quality that we managed to produce in the second half.”

Ancelotti also talked about visiting Las Vegas for the first time, the host city for the game between Real Madrid and Barcelona.

He added: “It’s a very pretty city. This was my first visit and I’ve enjoyed it. The stadium is amazing.”
