Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti addressed the media following Real Madrid’s 2-2 draw against Mexican side Club America in our second pre-season game.
Club America took the lead in the 5th minute before Karim Benzema equalised for Real Madrid in the 22nd minute. In the 55th minute, Eden Hazard gave Real Madrid the lead from the penalty spot before Club America equalised in the 82nd minute also from a penalty.
Giving his verdict on the game, Ancelotti said: “The game was a good one, better than the first. We struggled at the start up against a well-organised side.
“The team settled into the match and performed well and played in a different way to the first half. We played with more intensity and controlled play.
“The second half was more dynamic, with Ceballos and Camavinga changing positions. They both played well and brought a lot of energy. Ceballos is very good in possession.”
