According to French media outlet L’Equipe, Jorge Mendes has offered Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva to Real Madrid and La Liga rivals Barcelona.

It is believed the agent has told Real Madrid and also Barcelona that Bernardo Silva will be allowed to leave Manchester City this summer if the English champions receive an offer of €80million.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti believes this year’s squad is superior to the one that won LaLiga Santander and the Champions League last season.

“I think we have a better squad now than the one we had last year,” Ancelotti said.

“In training, you can see that there is even more intensity.”
