Real Madrid have enquired about the availability of Chelsea striker Armando Broja, according to Evening Standard.
Real Madrid are hoping to offload Borja Mayoral and Mariano Diaz this summer and have identified the young Chelsea striker as an ideal signing to provide cover for Karim Benzema.
Chelsea were initially open to letting Broja leave this summer but are now preparing the striker to be part of their squad this season.
A summer exit for Broja cannot be ruled out, though, with Madrid, Everton, Newcastle and several clubs in Italy keen on poaching the Albania international.
Chelsea have report given Broja a squad number ahead of the start of the Premier League after he spent last season on loan at Southampton.
