Spanish and European champions Real Madrid are set to battle Premier League side Arsenal for the signing of Chelsea striker Timo Werner, according to Football London.
Werner has been linked with a move away from Chelsea this summer after struggling to impress following his £50million move from RB Leipzig in 2020.
The 26-year-old has scored 23 goals in 89 appearances for Chelsea, playing just 21 games in the Premier League last season.
The arrival of Raheem Sterling at Chelsea could limit Werner’s chances next season and the German international is open to leaving the Premier League side this summer.
Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel would reportedly not stop Werner from leaving the Premier League side if a suitable offer is submitted.
Italian side Juventus are also reportedly interested in signing Werner following the departure of Paulo Dybala this summer.
