According to Football Espana, Spanish side Getafe have reached an agreement with Real Madrid for the signing of Borja Mayoral.
The 25-year-old has finally departed the Estadio Santiago Bernabeau after 15 years, having come through the club’s academy system.
The striker made his Los Blancos debut in 2015, but he struggled to find consistency scoring just 7 times in 33 appearances for the club.
The player had loan spells at Wolfsburg, Levante and Roma before most recently landing at Getafe.
Scoring six times in the second half of last season was enough for Borja to convince Getafe Boss Quique Sanchez Flores of his quality.
Both clubs have confirmed the transfer with the fee undisclosed, but rumoured to be a deal worth €10m with Borja signing a five-year contract.
