According to a report from Mundo Deportivio via Diario AS, Spanish side Espanyol could be ready to sell Raul de Tomas to Real Madrid after finding a replacement for the player.
Further details of the report claim Espanyol have identified Villarreal striker Paco Alcacer as his replacement.
Unai Emery’s side are willing to let their once record-signing leave this summer after a drop in performance. Moving his salary is also the key to funding further deals for the Yellow Submarine.
Espanyol will only sell Raul de Tomas if they receive an offer in the region €25-40m for his signature as he still has a contract until 2026.
