According to report by journalist Lucas Navarrete, Real Madrid winger Marco Asensio is not desperate to leave the club in this summer’s transfer window.

However, Navarrete also stated that the club will only be interested in selling the Spaniard if a suitable offer comes in.

“Real Madrid will be patient about Asensio,” journalist Lucas Navarrete tweeted.

“They think a replacement won’t be needed and will be ready to sell him if a good offer (€30 million) comes their way at the deadline.

“Asensio not that desperate about leaving this summer either. He believes he can still feature in the World Cup and he could get a lucrative signing fee next year.”

Meanwhile, Asensio who is behind Valverde and possibly Rodrygo  in Carlo Ancelotti’s pecking order on the right-hand side of attack is not fretting about his situation at the club.

The Spain international’s current contract with the Los Blancos expires in 2023.
