Paris Saint-Germain striker Mauro Icardi is reportedly open to joining Real Madrid before the transfer window closes.

According to Defensa Central, PSG outcast Mauro Icardi is said to open to a move to Real Madrid this summer.

The Argentine who signed for PSG from Inter Milan is keen to leave the Parc des Princes and could be a viable option for the club as we look for a backup for Karim Benzema. 

Icardi who has turned into a peripheral figure at PSG has started just 21 Ligue 1 matches over the past couple of seasons, finding himself behind Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi and Neymar in the pecking order.

With PSG also signing Hugo Ekitike this summer, Icardi’s chances of playing time is slim, and the report claim the Parisian giants are ready to offload him this summer.
