David Alaba came off the bench to score the winner as Real Madrid beat Almeria 2-1 on Sunday night.

The Austrian defender has now revealed what Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti told him before he came on to score the winner.

“Before I came on, Ancelotti told me to take the free kick because I’d score it,” Davi Alaba said after the game at Almeria.

“After the goal, he [Ancelotti] said to me: ‘Look, I told you'” Alaba added.
