Manchester United are now ramping up efforts to complete the transfer of Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro before their Monday Premier League game against Liverpool, according to El Chiringuito via Metro.

Manchester United have reportedly offered Casemiro a five-year contract with a salary double what he currently earns at Real Madrid.

On Wednesday, Casemiro spoke to Florentino Perez about United’s approach and although Real do not want him to leave, the club feels he has earned the right to decide his own future and will not stand in his way.

Real Madrid are reportedly demanding €70million (£59m) for the transfer of Casemiro and Manchester United are prepared to pay.

Another media outlet Relevo claims Casemiro has already told team-mates that he sees himself playing at Old Trafford after receiving an offer from Manchester United that is too good to turn down.

Casemiro already has several familiar faces at Manchester United, having played alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Raphael Varane at the Bernabeu, while he often plays alongside Fred for the national team.
