Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has revealed Luka Modric changed the game for Real Madrid in 4-1 victory over Celta Vigo on Saturday.

Ancelotti said: “Luka Modrić’s goal changed the game. It was an equal game, then he changed everything. He’s immortal.”

Ancelotti also gave his verdict on Federico Valverde’s performance against Celta Vigo.

Ancelotti said: “Valverde is not a winger but he plays well there. I still think he is a good midfielder but when Fede plays there [RW] he helps us a lot.”
