Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior has been nominated for La Liga Player of the Month for August after scoring two goals in just three La Liga games in August.

The other players in the seven-man list of nominees for La Liga Player of the Month include Robert Lewandowski of Barcelona, Gero Rulli of Villarreal, Chimy Avila of Osasuna, Iago Aspas of Celta Vigo, Kang-in Lee of Mallorca and Borja Iglesias of Real Betis.

Meanwhile, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid attacker Marco Asensio could leave the Santiago Bernabeu for the Premier League before the transfer window closes.

While discussing Asensio’s future, Fabrizio Romano said on his YouTube channel:

“Carlo Ancelotti confirmed that Asensio could leave and there are options for Asensio to be looking around. Let’s see what happens but from what I’m told, his agent is offering Asensio to Premier League clubs.

“So, keep an eye on Asensio because for Italian clubs, it is not easy. AC Milan was an option but it’s not easy. For Premier League clubs, it’s something that has been discussed with his agent, so let’s keep an eye on Marco Asensio until the end of the market.”
