With Real Madrid leading 1-0, Sergio Canales scored the equaliser for Real Betis before Rodrygo Goes scored the winner for Real Madrid.
Despite scoring the equaliser for Real Betis, Canales refused to celebrate his goal against Real Madrid.
Explaining his decision not to celebrate his goal against Real Madrid, Canales said: “Whenever I play here I feel respected by the fans and that’s why I didn’t want to celebrate my goal. I learnt a lot at Real Madrid and I am very grateful to them.”
Sergio Canales spent two seasons at Real Madrid between 2010 and 2012 before leaving the club for Valencia.
