Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti gave his thoughts on Real Madrid’s 2-1 victory over Real Betis on Saturday.

According to Ancelotti, Real Madrid deserved to beat Real Betis because we created a lot of chances.

Ancelotti said: “We’ve started the season well. It was a tough game, we had difficulty winning the ball back. Betis play out well from the back and that made it difficult for us.

“Then, we did well in possession and we were direct and produced some good link-up play. Our final pass and shooting let us down, but we created a lot of chances and we deserved to win. It wasn’t straightforward as Betis play good football”.
