Luka Modric has revealed his secret to staying at highest level despite being 37. The Real Madrid midfielder turned 37 today, September 9th.

Modric told Marca: “They always ask me for my secret, but I don’t know what to tell you. It’s something natural.

“I live for and for football almost 24 hours a day . I think that’s very important. I love what I do and I’m enjoying my profession like never before because I know I’m at a difficult age for a footballer .

“Maybe that’s why I’m enjoying it like never before, because you never know how long you can last at this level and at this club, where the demand is maximum. I try to enjoy training and in games. All this helps to be well at this age.”
