According to El Nacional via Manchester Evening News, Manchester City are interested in a January move for Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is reportedly keen on signing the 32 year old German midfielder despite Manchester City adding Kalvin Phillips to the squad in the summer.

Kroos player under Guardiola at Bayern Munich before moving to Real Madrid and Guardiola remains a big fan of the midfielder.

Kroos has less than one year left on his Real Madrid contract and can speak with foreign clubs from January.
