Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has revealed Real Madrid star Marco Asensio was angry for not playing in the victory over Mallorca.

Ancelotti had hoped to bring on Asensio against his former club Mallorca but an injury to Lucas Vazquez ruined the plan as the boss had to bring on Dani Carvajal instead. Asensio, who had been warming up, reacted angrily to not being brought on against Mallorca.

Ancelotti said as per elchiringuito tv: “Asensio’s anger for not playing? I agree with him, I’ll keep it in mind.”

Asensio has made just one substitute appearance for Real Madrid this season in which he played just eight minutes of football.
