Ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League game against German side RB Leipzig, Real Madrid defender Antonio Rudiger has declared he wants to score more than five goals this season.

Rudiger said: “I like to attack and score goals obviously, I try to score a lot, it’s important. I want to score more than 5 goals (like last season).”

If Rudiger features for Real Madrid tomorrow against RB Leipzig, it will be his first Champions League game for Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium.

Rudiger added: “Playing Champions League at the Bernabeu is a privilege, it’s an honour for me. Of course I’m a bit nervous.”
