Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has claimed Real Madrid’s defence is better with Antonio Rudiger in the team.

Rudiger joined Real Madrid this summer after his contract with Premier League side Chelsea expired.

Ancelotti said: “He’s brought experience, motivation and the desire to win. He’s a solid defender, focused and hard-working. Our defence is better with him in.”

Ancelotti also reacted after Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe called Real Madrid his home.

He added: “We’re thrilled with the players we’ve got up front, especially the young ones. We’re thrilled with Karim, but the young player comes on and are much more excited than the ones who’re used to it. We’re delighted with Vini Jr. and Rodrygo and aren’t thinking about anyone else at the moment.”
