According to media outlet CalcioMercato via Goal, out-of-favour Real Madrid winger Marco Asensio might be offered to Arsenal by his agent Jorge Mendes.

The Spanish international will be out of contract at the end of the season and looks set to leave the club after struggling for game time this season.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has revealed Real Madrid star Marco Asensio was angry for not playing in the victory over Mallorca.

Ancelotti had hoped to bring on Asensio against his former club Mallorca but an injury to Lucas Vazquez ruined the plan as the boss had to bring on Dani Carvajal instead. Asensio, who had been warming up, reacted angrily to not being brought on against Mallorca.

Ancelotti said as per elchiringuito tv: “Asensio’s anger for not playing? I agree with him, I’ll keep it in mind.”

Asensio has made just one substitute appearance for Real Madrid this season in which he played just eight minutes of football.
