Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has revealed Real Madrid star Karim Benzema won’t play against Atletico Madrid on Sunday.

Benzema has been out injured since the 3-0 victory at Celtic in the Champions League last week.

Ancelotti said: “Benzema will not play tomorrow.”

Speaking about the derby against Atletico Madrid on Sunday, Ancelotti added: “Tomorrow’s game will be a good game. The level is very high between both teams.

“Tomorrow’s game is very important because of the rivalry between the clubs.”
