Real Madrid and Barcelona lock horns in the season’s first El Clásico in La Liga in October.
Ahead of the clash, Barcelona defender Jules Kounde has turned on the heat, having admitted that he will show no mercy when he comes up against his former teammate Aurélien Tchouaméni.
Speaking to L’Équipe, Kounde said: “I confess that I don’t worry about him. In the World Cup, if we are both lucky enough to be called up, we will do everything to win it. The Champions League, on the other hand, is everyone’s destiny (he laughs).
“Since we left Bordeaux, we have never faced each other. But there will be no pity. Anyway, even when we play cards or anything, there is no mercy, so on the field, even less.”
