Real Madrid stars Karim Benzema and Lucas Vazquez returned to training on Wednesday but trained away from the rest of the group.

Benzema has been out injured since the 3-0 Champions League victory over Celtic while Vazquez has been out injured since the game against Mallorca.

Both players are expected to be ready to face Osasuna when this current FIFA break ends next week.

Meanwhile, Spanish rivals Barcelona are interested in signing Real Madrid star Marco Asensio as a free agent next summer.

Asensio’s current Real Madrid contract expires in the summer of 2023 and Barcelona are keen on signing the 26 year old Spanish international as a free agent.

The Spanish international has struggled for game-time this season under Carlo Ancelotti and looks set to leave Real Madrid next year.
