Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti won’t be happy to find out that one of his key players have suffered an injury while on international duty.

Real Madrid defender David Alaba had to be substituted after 70 minutes after suffering an injury while in action for Austria on Thursday.

The fact he jogged off the pitch was at least some small consolation that it might not be such a bad injury.

Austria manager Ralf Rangnick has confirmed David Alaba sustained a back injury and it’s unlikely he will play vs Croatia on Sunday.
