Former Real Madrid midfielder Kaka has revealed he had doubts about Aurelien Tchouameni replacing Casemiro in Real Madrid’s midfield after the Brazilian midfielder left for Manchester United.

After nine years at Real Madrid, Casemiro left for Manchester United this summer after building a formidable midfield trio of himself, Luka Modric and Toni Kroos at Real Madrid.

Kaka told Marca: “I love this player (Tchouameni) because he is very young but he has a huge personality and he is playing very well.

“I have to admit that I had doubts because Casemiro was a very experienced player and both Tchouaméni and Camavinga have little experience but are handling the pressure of playing for Real Madrid admirably.”
