Real Madrid star Toni Kroos is desperate to end his illustrious football career at Real Madrid, according to Daily Mail.

The 32 year old German midfielder is expecting to retire soon but is now set to stay on at Madrid for another year with Real Madrid expected to offer him a contract extension.

Kroos has made 373 appearances for Los Blancos since signing in 2014, and has been praised for his performances in recent times with Carlo Ancelotti’s side top of La Liga after winning the title last year alongside the Champions League.

The German’s current deal is set to expire at the end of the season but he is expected to extend for another year after his excellent start to the season.

Kroos has already retired from international football with Germany, and is expecting to hang up his boots for good sooner rather than later.
