Barcelona’s injury crisis has gotten worse ahead of the El Clásico next month with another Barcelona player injured.
Barcelona have confirmed right-back Hector Bellerin is suffered a calf injury and Marca has revealed he will be out for three to four weeks.
It will likely rule him out of six to eight matches, including El Clasico against Real Madrid, a double-header against Inter and potentially the return Champions League tie against Bayern Munich.
A statement from Barcelona said: “Tests carried out this morning have confirmed that Héctor Bellerín has a left soleus injury. He is out and his recovery will determine his availability.”
This is a huge blow to Barcelona boss Xavi Hernandez as Ronald Araujo and Jules Kounde are also out injured.
