According to Mario Cortegana, Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti intends to rest Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois until the El Clasico against Barcelona on October 16th.

Courtois missed the 1-1 draw against Osasuna on Sunday due to injury and Ancelotti intends to be cautious with the Belgium goalkeeper.

If Courtois is rested until the El Clasico against Barcelona, the goalkeeper will miss two Champions League games against Shakhtar Donetsk and a La Liga game against Getafe.
