Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has revealed Real Madrid’s best penalty taker after Karim Benzema missed a penalty in the 1-1 draw against Osasuna on Sunday.

Ancelotti said: “I thought about changing the penalty taker, but Karim took the two most important penalties last season. He is the best penalty taker we have.”

Ancelotti also gave his verdict on Real Madrid’s 1-1 draw against Osasuna. He said: “There are no excuses.

“The game didn’t go the way we wanted it to but we still could have won with the penalty. The team has done very well so far. These are things that happen in La Liga.

“There are things to improve. We’ve come from a very good run and now we’re going to look for another one. This team is never happy when it doesn’t win. A draw makes us sad, but we’re going to react soon.”
