Real Madrid are confident of signing Manchester City striker Erling Haaland in the summer of 2024, according to El Chiringuito.
The Norwegian international joined Manchester City this past summer and has already scored 14 goals in eight games in the Premier League.
Real Madrid see Haaland as the perfect replacement for Karim Benzema and are ready to trigger a release clause in his contract in the summer of 2024.
“The information I have is that there is an exit clause in the second year of Haaland’s contract, and the curious thing is that it provides very beneficial conditions for one specific club – which is Real Madrid,” former Real Madrid player Fernando Sanz claims.
It is believed that that the 22-year-old’s release clause is €200m in 2024 and €175m in 2025.
