Real Madrid star Dani Ceballos is set to miss Wednesday’s Champions League game against Shakhtar Donetsk due to an injury.

According to Melchor Ruiz, the Real Madrid midfielder is currently battling with a hamstring injury and will miss tomorrow’s game against Shakhtar Donetsk at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium.

Meanwhile, Ceballos, who started the 1-1 draw against Osasuna on Sunday, has called on the club to approach Wednesday’s Champions League game the right way after the draw against Osasuna.

Ceballos said: “We wanted all three points and we fought for them until the end. The team gave everything in the closing stages, but we couldn’t get the win.

“It’s two points dropped, we weren’t good on the ball nor in front of goal. We’ve got another game on Wednesday and we have to approach it in the right way.”
