UEFA’s Technical Observer Panel have named Real Madrid forward Rodrygo as Man of the Match following his performance in Real Madrid’s 2-1 victory over Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League.

Rodrygo scored Real Madrid’s first goal in the 13th minute and provided the assist for Vinicius Junior’s goal in the 28th minute.

UEFA’s Technical Observer Panel said: “Scored a goal, provided the pass to Vinícius Júnior for the second goal and created chances for Benzema and others to score. Also good in defence.”
