Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has revealed Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema is tired ahead of Saturday’s La Liga game against Getafe.

The 34 year old striker played the full 90 minutes in his injury comeback against Osasuna last weekend and played another 90 minutes against Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League.

Ancelotti said: “Benzema is a bit tired. But if he’s fine tomorrow morning he will play.”

Meanwhile, Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has dismissed reports of a Real Madrid release clause in Erling Haaland’s contract.

“It’s not true,” Guardiola said. “He has not got a release clause for Real Madrid or any other team.

“The rumours and people talking, we cannot control it. I always worry about what we can control.

“What’s important is he has adapted really well, we have the feeling he is happy here. We will try with him and all of them who want to stay to make them happy.

“In the future, nobody knows, but he is happy, he has settled perfectly, he is incredibly loved and this is the most important thing.”
